About Us

Assured Business Compliance Ltd is operated and run by Paul Davison IEng MIET CMIOSH AIEMA.

History

With a career rooted in Electronic Engineering, Paul has worked for the ministry of defence as a manager of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies for several years at one of their top-teir sites in Scotland, where he specialized in both legal compliance and operational safety.

He was appointed as Quality and Safety manager for the site and also went on to act as bio-safety officer, became a member of the management board, and was appointed Duty Officer in charge of the site outside of normal operating hours.

Specific areas of specialization:

  • Integration of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management Systems by utilizing all common elements.
  • Implementation of the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2002 (DSEAR).

Experienced in the following enviroments:

  • Engineering, wookworking, and paint workshops.
  • Explosive and dangerous atmospheres.
  • Warehousing, storage, handling, and transport.
  • Deep water jetties and ports.
  • General purpose offices and workspaces.

Track Record

While working as Safety and Quality manager at an MOD top-teir site, he was instrumental in securing the Scotland's Health At Work (SHAW) award, and pioneered emergency planning that involved exercises and liasons with local emergency services. He also planned and implemented proceedures to comply with the Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) regulations.

Recent clients include:

  • Ministry of Defense, British Aerospace (BAe), Royal Saudi Naval Forces.
  • Provided comprehensive procedures for a Quality Managment System (QMS), including health and safety, to a small local start-up.
  • Delivered training to Royal Saudi Naval Forces staff on QMS, process control, Health, Safety, and Eniromental Management systems.

Qualifications

  • HNC in Electronic Engineering, Registered as an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology: I Eng MIET NEBOSH
  • Diploma Parts 1&2 in Occupational Health (Dip2 OSH), Chartered Safety Practitioner and Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health: CMIOSH
  • BSC Diploma in Environmental Management (Dip EM), Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment AIEMA
  • Successful Lead/Auditor IRQA Trained to ISO9001
